01 · About

Hi, I'm Abdullah.

I like working on the whole system — where the screen, the server and the schema all have to make sense together.

I'm a full-stack software engineer. On the front end I build responsive, accessible interfaces; on the back end I design APIs and data models that are straightforward to reason about and to change.

I start with questions — who uses this, what they need, what could go wrong — before choosing tools. Outside of paid work I build small projects to try ideas properly rather than just reading about them.
